The Digital Production Process

Customer's files are comprehensively checked to ensure that files are set up correctly to print and then ripped to create a PDF file. The PDF's are then imposed via Preps Imposition, then pre-flighted in ApogeeX, before being ripped to produce either a High Resolution Sherpa proof, which is correct for colour, or a Low Resolution content proof. After customer's approval, the CTP plates are created from the same ripped file that produced the proofs, ensuring total data integrity. Our New Agfa Avalon N8-20 platesetter uses state of the art Azura TS chemistry free plates ensuring a more environmentally friendly process.
